Abhimanyu Singh Joins Rajinikanth’s Film ‘Annaatthe’

Bollywood actor Abhimanyu Singh, who has played the baddie in Tamil films like Vijay’s Velayudham and Thalaiva, Karthi’s Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, and Vikram’s 10 Enradhukulla, is the latest addition to the cast of Rajinikanth’s upcoming film ‘Annaatthe’, directed by Siva. The production house behind the film, Sun Pictures, tweeted the involvement of the actor in this film earlier today.

It remains to be seen what role Abhimanyu Singh will be playing in the hugely awaited family entertainer. But going by his previous roles, it is being speculated that he will be playing one of the villains in the movie, which has a large star cast that includes Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu, Meena, Prakash Raj, Jackie Shroff, Jagapathi Babu, Soori and Sathish. D Imman, who had teamed up with Siva in the blockbuster Viswasam, is composing the music for this film.

Abhimanyu Singh is presently part of four high-profile Bollywood movies. He will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal’s The Battle Of Bhima Koregaon, Akshay Kumar’s Bachchan Pandey, based on Karthik Subbaraj’s cult Tamil film Jigarthanda and State Of Seige: Temple Attack, based on the attack on the Akshardham Temple in 2002.
