We had told you that Bigg Boss Tamil – Season 4 title winner Aari Arujunan will be playing the lead in a mythological thriller titled Bhagavan. After shooting a grand song sequence in a palace-like set, the team has now shot the pre-climax at the Senji Fort recently.
“We had to get permission from the Archaeological Department to shoot there. Because of the pandemic, they aren’t giving permission easily, but we waited and got it because we were particular about shooting this sequence there as it involves the mythological period portion. There is a cave inside the fort. It floods when it rains. When we landed, it was filled with water, and we had to pump out all the water, dry the place and shoot,” says Aari, who will be sporting a new look in this sequence.
Aari and Yog Japee shot with tall and muscular-looking actors, who played builders, in this scene, which will also have a special appearance from a popular star. “We are in talks with a few popular stars as the character is a vital one and requires a well-known face. We still have two days’ work remaining and we will be shooting those portions once we have zeroed in on the star,” informs the actor.
The film is in the final stages of production and the post-production, including visual effects, is going on in full swing, he reveals.
