75th Cannes Film Festival: Nayanthara, Pooja Hegde & Tamannaah To Walk The Red Carpet

The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will see many Indian actors and actresses in attendance. Nayanthara, Pooja Hegde and Tamannaah Bhatia will represent India at the Cannes Film Festival. The three actresses will walk the red carpet. While Deepika Padukone is one of the eight jury members, Akshay Kumar will leave for the film festival on May 18.

R Madhavan’s Rocketry – The Nambi Effect, Godavari and several other Indian films will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. The festival will commence on May 16.

On May 12, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced that Tamannaah Bhatia, Nayanthara and Pooja Hegde will walk the red carpet of the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

The tweet read, “Star-studded Indian delegation to walk The Red Carpet of 75th #CannesFilmFestival. Celebrated Indian actresses to be a part of the Indian delegation include: Tamannaah Bhatia, Nayanthara, Pooja Hegde #IndiaAtCannes #Cannes2022 (sic).”

Films from Tamil, Marathi, Malayalam, Mishing and Hindi languages will be screened at the festival. On the film front, R Madhavan’s Rocketry – The Nambi Effect will see a world premiere at the festival. Godavari, Alpha Beta Gamma, Boomba Ride, Dhuin and Tree Full of Parrots are the other films that will be screened at the Olympia theatre, France.
