Hyderabad (India) : Telangana reported three Covid-19 deaths and 405 infections on Monday even as the number of active cases further reduced to 7,093. The total death toll now stands at 3,845 and the total count of cases stands at 6,52,785. So far, a total of over 2.34 crore covid-19 tests have been conducted in the state, out of which 6,52,785 have been tested positive and 6,41,847 persons have recovered. The number of active containment zones in the state also comes down to 20. Karimnagar, Jagtial, Nalgonda and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts registered the majority of the active containment zones in the state. The case fatality rate (CFR) stands at 0.58 percent while the recovery rate rose to 98.32 per cent So far 79.8 percent of overall cases in the state have been asymptomatic while 20.2 per cent have been symptomatic. Of the 405 new cases, the highest of 67 was from Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation followed by 36 in Warangal Urban, 32 in Karimnagar, 24 each in Medchal Malkajgiri and Nalgonda.
