Lord’s, Aug 16: England were 67/4 at Tea against India on the final day of the second Test here on Monday.
England still 205 runs to win.
Earlier, India declared their second innings at 298/8 with Shami scoring his second Test half century (56) and Bumrah (34) remaining not out putting a target of 272 runs before England from 60 overs.
Shami and Bumrah showed that they too can bat as a tailender and put up 89 run stand for the ninth wicket.
While England chasing a target of 272 runs to win lost both openers Burns and Sibley early for a duck bowled by Bumrah and Shami in 0.3 and 1.4 over.
Sharma took wickets of Hameed (9) and Bairstow (2) in 15.3 and 21.6 over both for lbw.
India are six wickets away from winning the second Test.
